RoboThespian™ is powered by compressed air; the major movements are driven by Festo air muscles, which are a rugged and reliable industrialised product.

RoboThespian™ has over 30 axes, all under proportional control, allowing variable speed and the ability to hold any position.

RoboThespian™ is controlled by a networked distributed IO system, which means that one RoboThespian™ only requires a CAT 5/6 network cable, a 8mm compressed air line and a mains supply to work.
