RoboThespian, accompanied by Engineered Arts’ Design and Production Engineer, Marcus Hold travelled to London recently to collect the Igus Manus Award UK for innovative applications of their plastic bearing products.

Igus’ low friction, small size and lightweight Iglidur bearings compliment the anodised aerospace grade aluminium components used throughout RoboThespian and form the basis for the smooth human-like movements and gestures.

The award presentation was reported by many respected UK engineering and manufacturing publications, including The EngineerDesign Products and Applications and  The Manufacturer.
