Oxford Brookes University has engaged in world-leading research in Artificial Intelligence for more than 10 years. They have made significant contributions to state-of-the-art technology in areas such as computer vision (enabling computers to ‘see’ and understand the world around them), machine learning (equipping computers with the ability to learn from experience) and bio-inspired computing (using observations from biology to develop new computing technologies).

A RoboThespian is newly installed in the Cognitive Robotics Laboratory as of autumn 2013.
