The Gaziantep Planetarium and Science Centre is located in the Municipality of the Greater Gaziantep, which is the 6th biggest metropolitan city of Turkey, located on the board of Syria, with a population over 1.5 million. The centre has been open to the public since 2010, comprising 3,500 square enclosed meters and extensive gardens.

The planetarium dome is 10.6 m in diameter, with 77 seat capacity, equipped with ZKP4 star optik projector and 5 Channel full dome digital projectors. Two RT3 RoboThespians, Mars and Venus, are there to assist visitors to the planetarium. Speaking Turkish and Arabic, they converse with each other on such subjects as planets and astronomy.
