Questacon, Canberra

A RoboThespian with Australian speech synthesis – both male and female voices – is installed at Australia’s National Science and Technology Centre, Questacon, in Canberra. Questacon is an interactive science centre that opened on 23 November 1988, presenting free games, quizzes and activities to explain science to children and teenagers. Currently, Questacon has a team of over 200 staff members as well as an additional 100 volunteer Explainers. Each year, over 400 000 visitors are welcomed to the Centre in Canberra.
